Free Traffic Methods

Ok, I’ve been blogging a lot about Driving Free Traffic to your blogs lately via Social Media Marketing. I went back to reviewing Traffic Secrets by John Reese and checked out what still works and what doesn’t…

From what my subscribers tell me, one of the toughest and most asked questions is how to get traffic to your site. Their are free methods to drive traffic to your site if you go about it the right way. traffic is the lifeblood of your web site and if you don’t get enough traffic to the site it will die a slow painful death and we don’t want that to happen do we. Here are some that you can still use and still work.

Many great free methods to drive traffic to your site is out their. Let’s go over some of these traffic generating ideas so you can have a better grasp of what you need to do.

One of the more popular ways are through traffic exchange programs. These programs are widely used by people with various success. Many times it depends on alot of different factors that you have no control over. The best part about traffic exchanges is you will get some free traffic to your site which can only help.

Another free traffic method is using articles to drive it their. Writing articles and submitting to article directories will drive traffic to your site and it’s a great free way that people are using more today than ever before. The biggest advantage of this method is it keeps working as most of the articles are picked up by search engines and can stay on for years thus giving you traffic month after month.

Social network sites are the newest craze and a great way to drive traffic to your sites. Social networking is where you meet people like yourself and you can exchange ideas about growing your business. The best part about social networking is the relationships that are built through these organizations. These are great traffic builders for your business. I’ve been writing a lot about Social networks and I highly recommend you test and try it out for yourself. I already compiled a list of Social Media sites that you can use.

Using splash pages(some call it optin pages or flycatchers) and a free gift to drive traffic to your sites. A splash page is a fancy designed or even a generic page that let’s you give away a free gift in exchange for their email address and name. These pages can also redirect these customers to your web site once they sign up. Sure they may only sign up for the free gift, but you now have an email address to market to and their taken to your web site. You win twice in this method. Blogs is probably the hottest thing right now in Internet marketing and it gives you a way to get tons of free traffic to your site in various ways.

You can also use blogs like this one your reading, I know a lot of people who use blogs to drive free traffic to their sales pages. Since you don’t really update your one page salesletter(unless you constantly test different headlines and update it) then having a blog assures that you continue to update your site and in return the Search Engines love you.

Some free traffic methods that still work well, but have been overlooked are free classified ads. Free classified ads are still used on the Internet and contrary to popular belief they do work. People visit them and actually see what people have to offer. Classified ads don’t pull like they once did, but don’t kid yourself they are still a valuable resource. I’ve saved the last two as they are my favorite.

Signature files are usually what is attached below your signature be it in an email or a post on the Internet. These signature files will get clicked on and free traffic is the result from them.

The last and in my opinion one of the best ways is to visit lots of forums. Forums let you create a signature file and most will let you post free ads to drive even more traffic to your web site. Each day new forums are put up and it doesn’t look like that will stop anytime soon. Forums are one of the best free traffic methods that exist today.

As I always say, test and track it and see if it works for you and your business model. It really doesn’t hurt you if you hit a home run if it boost your traffic five percent here or ten percent there. It all adds up in the long run.

Why A Blog is A Must In Today’s World

Blog In Today’s World

Blogs are all the rage and that isn’t going to change anytime soon. Why a blog is a must in today’s world can be answered many different ways. One guy who has a nice blog and uses it for many purposes is John Delavera. Delavera has learned that connecting with customers and friends is very important if you really want to take your business to the next level. His blog does that and more. let’s dig deeper into why blogs have become a very powerful marketing arm and something that as a business person or just an individual you should consider them very carefully. Blogs are just what I call mini web sites that people or businesses post things on and people come to read. This can be beneficial in many different ways. Businesses benefit as they can introduce new concepts or products into the market and get a feel for how people like them or even dislike them based on a blog. Surveys can also be put up on blogs to judge how your business is progressing or what the public may think of it. Over 50,000 blogs each day are created and that trend doesn’t look to slow down anytime soon.

One of the main things people come to blogs for though is information. No matter what information drives people back to a blog that is always updated. It’s like a built in generator for traffic. Once you get it going most likely repeat people will come in and see what you have to offer. It’s just the nature of the beast. Blogs can also be a platform for your business to launch new things without a great cost to you. People launch products and other things from blogs to see what kind of a response they will receive before they spend the money for a total Internet launch. It just makes good sense to do it that way. Blogs can help you build a mailing list for your business. Your blog can be customized to have places to signup for updates and even newsletters to give your customers a heads up to what is going on. This is an invaluable resource to the company and even the people signing up for the newsletters. Blogs are search engine magnets which is another reason why you need one. Search engines love new content and blogs give you that. Getting good search engine rankings mean more people can find your site and see what your offering and in turn this could mean more money to you in the long run. Blogs build many different things for you from relationships to product awareness. As more people blog eventually they run into blogs they like and bookmark them. This means a good blog will get a following that will be loyal to your brand. Many people don’t realize this and blog just for fun. Their is nothing wrong with that, but imagine how businesses that really put an effort into blogging how their time would be cut in half as would their expenses. It’s alot cheaper to send 1,000 emails than it is to send 1,000 letters announcing a product launch. I guess in the end can you really afford not to have a blog in this money driven world of ours. The answer is no you can’t. The ones who embrace blogs are going to profit real well and the ones that don’t are going to get left behind. Hopefully you will be the one moving ahead of the crowd and use blogs to grow your business and make your life better.

The Lazy Marketing Way To Explode Your Business With Articles

Article Success Profits Articles maybe the least know way to drive people to your web sites. That’s changing as more and more people are now using articles to bring massive amounts of traffic to their sites. Article writing have been around for a very long time, but until recently wasn’t thought of as a way to drive search engine traffic to your sites. That has changed now and I’m going to give you some quick tips to use articles to bring your site more traffic. First, many people think that once you write an article that your done and that is hardly the truth. This is an misconception that has been put out their and really isn’t as true as it once was. It’s true a very popular article will stay highly ranked but consistency is the key. The more articles you have out their the better chance you will be ranked in the search engines. We need to see what an article consist of so we can get started on marketing your business with articles.

To get articles ranked on search engines they need to have certain things that they look for. Keyword density is very important, but don’t over do it. The content is still king no matter what anyone will tell you. Google and the search engines love fresh content and you get ranked favorably if you submit fresh content all the time. Make sure your articles are checked through with no errors as it doesn’t look good on you if an article does appear with alot of typos. Once you have the article ready to go you can submit it to article directories. Article directories are where these articles are usually submitted and in turn the search engines usually pick these up. Many article directories will let you put a resource box at the end of your articles. This can have a little about you and what you do. Most of them will let you put in a url of your web site.

These resource boxes are important as people will click these on and head to your site which drives visitors to whatever you are doing or promoting. The more article directories that these articles you write the more traffic it will bring you. It doesn’t stop their either though. Ezine publishers are always on the look out for great articles and submitting them to these ezine publishers are always a good idea. The name of the game is getting your articles out their. Let’s get back to the resource box for a second. Web site owners will go to these article directories and if they pick up your article and post it anywhere they must leave your resource box intact. This means more traffic as your feeding off their web site traffic with that article. Articles can generate traffic so many different ways it’s a win-win situation for the article writer. It can also means other jobs for you.

As people see your articles on search engines and article directories more job offers could come your way. Articles are simple very low cost and if you don’t want to write your own you can hire it out usually between 5-10 dollars an article. if you buy in bulk the cost can be alot less. No matter which way you choose articles can give a boost to your business and help your bottom line. besides articles for the most part don’t take alot of time up and your rewards can come fairly quickly which is why more and more people are using articles to promote their business and themselves.
