Once you have your customers buying from you, It is essential to reinforce their buying decision. This simple action can ultimately improve and your business’ long term growth and back-end sales. The net worth of customer in this profit funnel can be very large.

Here are the steps to profit wildly with this system:

  1. You must have a program setup to reinforce the buying decision if you don’t setup one right away.

  2. You contact your customers after they made the initial purchase so that you can offer the above.

  3. Thank the customer and give him/her an opportunity to bump what they bought to a larger sale (if this is appropriate for your product).

  4. When writing your email or letter, tell your client that “because you’re concerned about him/her, because care more than to actually make a quick profit and leave, not be suprised from time to time if you write to inform or alert them to find out about other things.

Once you’ve figured out the number of times your customers have repurchased from you on their own, there is still more to it than that. You need to consider how the value of your subscriber list increases if you actively solicit them again and again. The ultimate way is to determine what a customer is worth to you is the extent of your back-end sales to them. As long as you don’t over do it by selling other products that is not relevant to their niche and always selling them at then next opportunity you can do a JV. Make sure the back-end product you are selling will enrich and be valuable for your customers in the long run.

Upsell Or Resell Right At, Or Immediately after The Initial Sale

Here are some pointers and tips to get more back-end sales from your customers:

  1. Upsell or resell them immediately after the initial sale. A lot of experience Internet Marketers have already learnt this technique and will not fall for this marketing unless your an authority figure but in different niche markets it works great. As long as the product your that synergetic to the one they’re buying you can dramatically improve your profits. By experimenting with an add-on products or services. Maybe you can offer a package of related items for a 40-50% discount of they buy now. A lot of people using the Butterfly Marketing Software are doing this with great effect.

  2. Cotact or visit your customer right after the sale to see how they like their purchase and ofter them a deal on a related product or service. One out of 3-5 client may take you up on your offer. Upgrade the sale by slashing $100 off. For example you sell the normal version of the software and they are buying the gold upgraded version.

  3. Secure the rights to high profit or repeat-type product or services that are logically suited to your customers, you can either do a follow up call or email to sell this product. One great example for this is the Private Label Rights of aweber and 1shoppingcart. I’ve seen the big marketers get a hold of the PLR for this product and sell it to their customers for recurring income.

Once you’ve worked out how much extra income you can earn on the back end, you can then work on expanding your advertising budget for every sale of your product. You can now justify spending a lot of money developing different strategies to acquire customers and sales. Since their no longer worth “A” dollars, but they are now worth “A + B” dollars.

Testing is the mother of skill in Marketing… Test this let me know about your results.

Keep An Accurate Timely Customer Database

your-greatest-asset-is-your-customers-copy.jpg Keeping an accurate and timely customer list is the best way to track your results easier with your customer database. Updating and reusing your customer list is crucial for your long term marketing strategy, as I said in the previous post, they’ll buy from you once and they will buy from you again as long as they had a good experience from their previous purchase from you.

You need to put yourself in the eyes of your customer, Your business should be run and operated as you would expect it to be if you were a customer.

1. Constantly look for ways to improve and the treatment of your customers, because they will reciprocate and respond to you through the most important vote of all. Their Sales DOLLAR… CHING CHING!

  1. Don’t accept MEDIOCRITY in any phase of your business. Especially in your customer relations and your sales effort in particular.

Those two functions form the basis of all if not every company that are successful. It also separate from boys to men.

Begin a Continual Communication With Your Customers

For those who have a small amount quantity of customers should immediately begin a Continual communication with their customers on a regular basis so that they’re a trusted friend and become an authority on their specific niche market.

First things to do after customers first purchase is to send a letter via an autoresponder or snail mail them where you:

  1. Thank and applaud them for the purchase.

  2. Resell the value of your company and your product.

  3. Comfort and reassure them of the them purchasing your product or service whatever the transaction maybe.

This automatically programs your customer to repurchase, revisit or rethink in terms of dealing with you.

You can possibly make your customers an offer of either an additional product or service they can purchase. If you want to, you can offer to up-sell them to a deluxe package. A great example of this is Mike Filsaime’s Butterfly Marketing Manuscript where once you buy the ebook, you automatically get taken to One Time Offer of buying the Butterfly Marketing Package, if you chose to say no, he down sells you to the download of the scripts instead. You see, Mike has a 100% guarantee in his products.

Your Greatest Asset - Is Your Customers

First and foremost, when building a business either online or offline the main reason in increasing income is by acquiring and building your paying customers list and prospects.

I have already put together a Guide to Write a Successful Newsletter that you can follow and put into action in your business.

Your best prospects are your existing customers. If you’ve been putting all your effort to acquiring new customers, stop and divert some of your resources into reselling, upselling, cross-selling to those same customers. You can put together package ideals inserts, regular mailing of special offers, either via snail mail or to my more preferred third party autorespoder like aweber, 1shoppingcart, getresponse(If you already started building your list through this method). I can’t stress enough that you need to stay in touch with those customers and get them used to buying from you.

First of all, your customer relationship are your most prized asset you can have. If you haven’t realized already, I like to build rapport to by including some of my personal updates about my life. Sometimes your customers like to have human contact just so they know that they are not communicating to a robot.

Here are 5 ways to secure customer relationships :

  1. Keeping in touch - whether it be by telephone, mail or in person, all customers and clients want to feel special and that you take special interest in seeing their needs and wants.

  2. Giving your customers the best deal and guarantees that you can possibly get away with. As long as your ethical with your dealings with your clients.

  3. Having a preferred pricing - Let your existing clients in on your best deals first before you let everyone else know. Give them the opportunity to buy from you first before you actually release your products to the public.

  4. Providing post-purchase reassurance - Each time your customers buys from you, make your you touch base with them a week after they purchase or received your product. You wouldn’t want your customers to think that you forgot about them as soon as you sold them your products. You can either call them or have it programmed in your autorespoder on how they are going with their new purchase. This gives you that post-purchase reassurance that they made the right choice.

  5. Building rapport and trust. Be as honest as you can be with you customer list is crucial to your business. As I said before, if your ethical to people they will trust buying from you.

It is crucial to not take your customers for granted and make sure that you care about having their business is your best interest. If you have a solid customer list, you’ve got a solid customer base. Work those customers you already have and focus on servicing them. They’ve bought from you once and if they had a great experience from you. They will buy again.

Have a great week everyone… I’ll be posting more about your Customers and making the most of your customer list this week so make sure you look out for it.
