Proof Why I Love Social Marketing

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Ok… a few of my readers have been asking me about social networking and social bookmarking.

Just so you know, I’ve been using social marketing as a means to drive traffic to blog since September this year. I was stunned by the results of my case study. I wrote an article last night and then posted it to my favourite Social Networking sites and then went too sleep. I got up this morning to get ready for my weekly mastermind meeting and decided to check my stats to see that…

dailystats14thnov07small.jpg

I got 55,708 hits for the 14th of November!!! Over half the amount of hits I received for the whole month of October. So far this month, I’ve already had 168,000+ hits and we are only half way through the month.

Here are my stats for this year, you will notice when the traffic started increasing significantly:

Stats-Summary

Below is the actual numbers for this year so far:

I’ve already got 117 sites referring to my blog and it just keeps on growing. I’ll be putting up my advertising page soon for those who want to tap into carloselorio dot com targeted traffic.

My team has also added a few services with blog marketing, link building and Internet Marketing Coaching.

I would like thank everyone who visits this blog and who have inspired me to give more to my readers.

How To Build and Profit From A “USP”

USP

What sets your business apart from others in the same field as you? And, more to the point , what is truly unique about your business-something “special,” something that your main competitor simply can’t offer or doesn’t offer? Is it the price? the Durability of your product? Is it the convenient hours your open? Great after purchase service? Whatever it is, make sure that this unique quality or your Unique Selling Proposition(USP) is at the heart of all your marketing efforts. If you leave this out of your selling strategy, you are leaving a the main sales weapon at your disposal: UNIQUENESS.

The number of possible USP’s is virtually ca go forever but once you’ve hit the nail on the head, you can make it as your foundation for marketing. Once you do this, you need to fulfill your promises. On the other hand, it can also back fire and ruin your reputation if you don’t provide what you intended.

For example, don’t promise next day deliver products if you really can’t back it up and give your customers speedy service. My point with this is that customers will hold you to your promises, don’t promise a wide range of choices if you have only one of two items to offer. If you disappoint your customers one too many times then you’ll simply lose business and they will end up going somewhere else. I know you don’t want that happen and so do I. A great way to identify your own “USP” you can start a little exercise I learnt from one the great marketing wizards, Jay Abraham.

On a sheet of paper, write down this sentence:

“Most businesses in my industry do ________________. But what we do is _____________.

As a blank spaces suggest, I want you to write in whatever it is that sets you apart from all your competitors… whether it be in your online or offline business. What you do that they don’t do or can’t do is your “Unique Selling Proposition”.

You can absolute build a global by having a great USP, its up to you where you want your business to be in the future.

Cheers!

Outsourcing Internet Marketing Services Effectively?

Outsourcing Your Internet Business Photo by DataArt

Internet marketing is a necessity these days. No matter what type of business you are in, it is important to have internet marketing. Many companies choose to outsource when it comes to internet marketing. While this is a good choice for larger corporations, it is not an always an option for smaller companies. However, if your are considering outsourcing internet marketing services, there are some things to consider.

Webmasters have their hands full with websites chores. Building a website that catches the eye and provides information is difficult. To relieve some of the pressure, outsource internet marketing. Let someone else worry about promoting your website.

Finding good internet marketing is not the chore you may think it is. There are plenty of services that have affordable options for internet marketing. Find a good contractor and save money while getting great personalized service.

There are plenty of huge companies that have extensive internet marketing ploys that will help your website become recognized. However, there are also plenty of individuals and small outfits that will provide similar services. Finding a great internet marketing person is actually not very difficult.

The best way to get internet marketing that is good is to look through portfolios. Look for someone that is producing the type of work you would like done for your website. Direct mailing through e-mail is very simple and easy way to gain business. The e-mails written by individuals are typically much warmer than the ones produced by huge companies. You will also be able to have a little bit more creative input with an individual.

Internet marketing with getting people to view your website. There are services that will add new links to your website gradually. This is an optimum way to increase your Google ranking. The pros of using a professional service include the companies ability to do market research. They will be able to find out where your website will be noticed the most. They also will have the time to locate more directories and linking sites than an individual.

Of course, the results from internet marketing are varied and never guaranteed. Massive services may have e-mails that get caught in spam filters. Individuals may be able to break through these spam filters because they have a regular e-mail address. These are all things to consider when choosing an internet marketing company.

The ability to establish permanent links to your website is key to your success. Sometimes a personal touch is the best way to establish these. By sending out an e-mail introducing yourself and telling other webmasters about your site and your desire to swap links may be a better approach than the e-mail that a large company may send out.

In the beginning start out with low cost internet marketing. Do not get an expensive internet marketing package that the proceeds from the websites will not be able to cover. If you go with professionals, make sure that the services you are getting are worth it. Often times, newcomers to the world of internet marketing fall into the trap of getting more internet marketing than they need. Having a to much internet marketing does not necessarily increase the production of your site. Make sure that you are not being sold services that are simply there to push up the price of their services.

When it comes to internet marketing it is best to do as much as you can on your own. If you simply do not have time or if you are not skilled enough in Internet functions, outsource your marketing. Try to use free services whenever you can and save money by being proactive and innovative.

Seven Steps To Becoming A Viral Marketing Champion

I hope you all had a great weekend as I’m going to give you some lessons I learned from reading another legendary marketer, Janet Switzer. A lot of the stuff I’m righting about is from her book Instant Income. I sugest that you get it if you want to really make a living and working at home.

To start off this week, I would like to thank Janet for really opening my eyes and really helping me understand how easy it is to make money online. Here’s the Seven Steps in putting together your Viral Marketing Campaign:

  1. Set Up Three Pages to Run Your Viral Marketing Campaign - You need the following pages to set up your campaigns to full throttle.

Squeeze Page - This page offers your Free Report and it will also capture all the names and email addresses of your subscribers before they download your report. Confirmation Page - This page thanks all your visitors for giving your their contact details, then gives instructions for downloading the free report. This page also click on the following link once they have downloaded the report. That link should take you to your salespage of the product you are selling. Salesletter Page - This is where you offer your products with a salesletter - written in direct response style, check out Michel Fortin or Ray Edwards if you

  1. Subscribe to a Shopping Cart Service - Shoppingcarts are the easiest way to manage all your transactions online. Their are some great shopping carts that are plug and play. eg. 1shoppingcart and JVManager. This is allows you to collect your payments, track your commisions, manage your affiliates and organise your autoresponders in 1shoppingcart’s case.

  2. Write a Special PDF Report that’s Buzz Worthy - You need to have a Unique and informative report that enables and compels your readers to want more of your content. A great example of this is the Authority Blackbook PDF that has gone viral, literally drive traffic and sales to Authority Site Center. Check it here for more details.

4. Make Your Report Fully “Brandable”. - Their are great softwares out their that helps you rebrand the PDF so that your affiliates and can get credit for sales and refferals. This will help you get your report out a lot quicker if you implement this properly.

  1. Create an Autoresponder Series - Once your visitors has signed up, you can set up an autoresponder relating the product that you are promoting to continue marketing your product and brand. An autoresponder can be programmed so that you are automatically sending out a series of emails at pre-determined time and frequency. You can create a tutorial about your report, checklist and reminders to pursuing the goal talked about in the special report. The main purpose is to follow up with prospects and encouraging them to buy your products, This can be profitable in the backend if you do this right.

  2. Make it Easy To Give Your Report Away - Develop promotional materials that will help your affiliates and guide them in promoting your report with ease. What I learnt from Mike Filsaime’s Butterfly Marketing is if you provide all this you can drive more traffic and more sales to your report and website. Provide, Press Releases, Blog Content, Banners, pre-written emails other tools that can simplify the process of making your report viral.

  3. Start Conecting with Your Friends and Super Affiliates - This is probably the most important traffic that you will receive in your report. If you get authority figures to promote your report, you automatically have instant profits that will last a lifetime. If you ended up tapping into guys like Ewen Chia, Mike Filsaime, Andrew Fox if your in the internet marketing industry, you will gain authority status in no time. As long as you give great content and great returns for their effort. How do you find the superaffiliates in your niche? Look in forums, google the topics and find who’s hot in your niche.

I hope I’ve painted a good picture to help you on your viral marketing campaigns in the near future.

Have a great Week!

viral-marketing-reports.jpg

For Entrepreneurs, The Internet has changed not only how we deliver products but how we sell them too. Results can happen instantantly. Promotional planning and timelines are typically accelerated. Literally, the income online can be unlimited and in hours if not days.

There are just a few reasons why many of the fasted growing companies today are Online or Internet Base.

One of the smartest strategies that internet marketers us to produce special reports that teach readers about the benefits of your own product, service, expertise, or even make other offers to other marketers products (If you want to see my previous post about it click here).

Lets revisit Viral Marketing…

What is Viral Marketing?

In my previous article about Proven Viral Marketing Techniques, I talked about different ways to increase your profits by the power of Viral Marketing.

On the internet, Viral Marketing is based on pass-along principle. Like a virus that causes colds and fly, a viral marketing campaign also passes things along, in this case, special report which is designed to sell the reader on your products and services. Viral reports, are passed along:

  1. Via Email
  2. Publishing an article that drives people to your website to download the report.
  3. Someone posts your report on another Website/blog or otherwise gives it away because they you’ve given the rights that person can do so.

You can see marketing experts who have done this successfully, Mike Filsaime like The Resource Report in full effect.

Viral Marketing capitalizes on the very best feature of the net - tha is, the information spreads very quickly in this free wheeling environment. You will see in a short moment, many viral strategies actually enhances how quickly your name, your reputation and message can spread. You can actually become an authority figure in short period of time. Once you unleash your viral marketing campaign, it literally takes on a life of its own and can’t be stopped! Like the real life viruses, it will affect hundreds of thousands of people before it fades away and drop in numbers.

Next week, I’ll be taking about the Seven Steps in processing your Viral Marketing Campaign.

To Your Success,

Carlo Selorio
