First week in Phils…

Hey Everyone,
We’ve been here in manila for 6 days already and I’m really exhausted with just everything that we’ve done.
We got here on tuesday afternoon.. got picked up by my General De La torre and got out of the airport straight away and he took us to his new place at Fort Mckinley Hill… probably the best house I’ve stayed in manila. Split levels…. and a level for each room. We we’re all shocked with how big the house was.
We rested a bit and went out to dinner close by… to a place called Shabu Shabu. After an hour eating we saw the former first lady by the name of “Imelda Marcos” sitting next to our table. My family just couldn’t resist to ask for a Photo with Imelda… we got shocked when she said yes. I’ll post the pictures later since I haven’t even uploaded all the pictures to our laptop and I haven’t had Internet access since we got here since I was banned to use Internet by my wife!! (She thinks I’m obsessed with the net - Aren’t all Internet Marketers?).
Since then we’ve shopped everyday looking for shoes, dresses and pants for my brothers wedding.
Last few days have been really great…
Friday afternoon, we had a kitchen demonstration for my Uncle’s new place with Chef’s coming to show us how to use the new benchtop. It was an awesome lunch… straight after that, we went shopping again and celebrated my Grandma’s 91st birthday. It was the first family gathering we’ve had in a long time!!! I didn’t even realise how big our family was until that night… with over 100 people attending.
Saturday afternoon was shopping again… shopped for shoes and maternity clothes for my beautiful wife then went back home to get change for my brother’s big Dance Competition… Groove! in the 5 years that Groove that has been running… its by far the best one here in manila with over 1000 hip hop fanatics…
i have to continue… since we’re going to Church.
